Meet the Teacher

I am a first year, 5th grade teacher. 

I love to read! I have a special connection with the Harry Potter Series! 

I love to spend ENORMOUS amounts of time on Pinterest!

But, most importantly, I LOVE to teach!

The start of my journey begins with the ending of another. I went from student teaching ending, to graduation day, to being employed in a matter of about a month. To read all about it, start reading here.

All you need to know to read, and hopefully enjoy this Blog are the following four things: 

1. I am a first year teacher. I sometimes forget to blog regularly. 
2. I am incredibly random, just ask any one of my students. So I may
   on occasion get off topic. Sorry :] 
3. I teach at a year round school. So what I am doing, is a little off from what
   someone in a traditional school may be doing at any given point in the year. 
4. This is a way to keep first and foremost, my friends and family updated.
   Since I had to move for my job, this is a way to share my on going experiences
   with them. So I have a tendency to write a little more informally, but I always
   explain what things like PLT, BT, and other abbreviations stand for.
